You should be able to park anywhere downtown, unless they are doing construction on one of the buildings.
So, so good! Clearly lots of love and effort behind this delicious food.
This place was amazing! I wish it was closer to where I live. Everything was fresh and hot when it was served. It did take a little longer than some other restaurants, but totally worth it. The space is small and intimate. There is also outside dining. On a busy day I can see where parking might be a problem.
We’ve eaten here twice while driving cross country. Never disappoints! Best breakfast/lunch you could ask for. The servers are kind and the food is unique, we haven’t ordered anything we didn’t like. We love the location right on historical Main Street and the vibe of the place is just so peaceful. Definitely worth the stop We especially love the omelets, green eggs, and French toast. And of course the cinnamon rolls are great to take in a to go box for the road:)
Great place to grab a bite in Baker. We were visiting in August and asked a group of local gals for their opinions of the best place to get a relatively healthy lunch -- all three simultaneously said "Lone Pine Cafe"! Sat outside and enjoyed our salads, sandwiches, and iced coffee.
Wonderful food!! Tyler was Amazing! Stacked Enchiladas were incredible! Thanks for the great lunch!
In business since 2014, so successful in the restaurant business. Come in and find out why! Too far off the highway? NO IT IS NOT!!! Trust me...one trip and you'll be thinking "is there a route that goes through Baker City?...like down Main Street around breakfast or lunchtime? Extra 100 miles...yeah, let's do that!"Servings are generous, and the flavors! Just a wonderful place, and great tunes on vinyl!Come. Try. Be happy. Be full.
This is for sure the place you want to eat in Baker City! The food is delicious, the space is open and bright, staff is friendly. Outdoor seating and faces east so there’s warm morning light. Oooof
Great food, good coffee. Theres a few outdoor seats under some trees. It's got power and wifi, good for working on a laptop. Service is quite good. Building and site are nice, old vaulted ceiling. Parking is easy. Prices are a bit high, but not terrible. Green eggs and toast is excellent
Bicycled across Oregon with 5 friends last summer and we finished up in Baker City.We hung out at the Lone Pine for much of the 2 days we were in town. It's just a really special place. That was almost a year ago now but I still think of it often. Hope everyone is well at the Lone Pine and that I'll be able to visit again someday.
Every time we've been here this place was packed HOWEVER their terrific wait staff keeps things moving right along. The fish and chips were excellent and we split the order between the two of us because of the large amount of food! We will return again and again.
Food was excellent as was the coffee and the service. I had the green eggs with the sausage potato patties and my mom had the BELT. I actually was truly sad that I couldn't eat every bite!
Good service Excellent food Awesome vibe
The best mimosa I have had! On our way through we stopped for lunch. There were 9 of us, but they couldn't accommodate us sitting together. We had to get our own menus and they messed up our order. If you don't care about prompt service and have time, this a is a good place. However, the service could be improved.
Good food and large portions. Some great local art on the walls nice old baker feel.
We love stopping at Lone Pine Cafe whenever we drive through Baker City. It has become a family tradition on our way to visit the Oregon Coast. This is our son's first year visiting the coast and his first visit to Lone Pine! I highly recommend the biscuits and gravy. I get it every time I go. They are the best I have ever had (and I have tried a lot of biscuits and gravy). Remember to grab a cinnamon roll while you are there. They are huge and delicious. Big enough to share with my husband and son.
Must stop here when in Baker City! Delicious!
Excellent food and drinks in a cozy and casual atmosphere. I have had many menu items and specials here and have enjoyed all of them thoroughly. Great beer selections and cocktail specials. Great spot for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. My biggest complaint is that they are not open for dinner. I wish I was having a beer there now!
I love thos place for lunch every time I am in town.
Nice breakfast spot on the way to Boise. The Chorizo con Huevos was great! Service is a bit spotty though.
The best avocado toast! Wonderful employees, cute building and great atmosphere. The menu looks awesome, will be back to check it out.
Excellent food and attentive wait staff. Cool old looking interior. Loved it.
Coming from “foody” Portland our expectations are never too high when we are on the road we just hope for a decent meal. This place was all that and some! The food was excellent and the staff was very attentive and pleasant which was very nice As it’s not always that way in the metro area. Keep doing what you do!
Absolutely the best meal I've had in months. Not one item on the menu that I won't try. Great selection of non-alcoholic beverages available as well. Diners, Drive in &Dives material in Baker City!
We were really surprised by this place. My spouse had the “Huevos Rancheros” and I had “Green Eggs and Potato Sausage”. My spouse said that the “Huevos Rancheros” were the best she had ever had and we lived in Mexico for many years. The tortillas were crisp, not soggy, and everything was done perfectly. My “Green Eggs” were light and fluffy and the herbs added a wonderful flavor. The “Potato Sausage” was just right with little pieces of potato. The home made bread was really good and my spouse bakes bread at least once a month. Also I tried the “Blackberry jam” and it was very good but I only had it on one piece of toast as I didn’t want to hide that wonderful flavor of the bread. If you are in Daily City you MUST stop in for breakfast.
VERY FRESH TASTY FOOD! friendly, quick service. Hubby had a burger and I enjoyed a breakfast plate. Both were very good! Good local ingredients. Would suggest the Potato Sausage - yum!! Definitely worth the atop for sure!
I used to love this place and the food had been really great. Went in the other day and our server let us sit there for 10 minutes before bringing water or menus. The food was good, but the service ruined it. We had the guy who always wears a backwards hat and has glasses, he took my boyfriends drink to “refill” and never returned, at that point we had nothing to drink. Never returned to give us the check; we ended up leaving no tip because while we were waiting to have our order taken and when we had no drinks, he was eating in front of customers and doing random things like changing the music (looking through records) and ignoring his tables. If we do eat there again we will get it to go.
Amazing, best hidden secret of Eastern Oregon or for that matter Oregon in general!
We're actively sitting here right now and I could not wait to leave a glowing review of this place. The service was friendly and fast and the breakfast menu just looked too good for any of us to pick one, so we went family style the waitress was very accommodating. We split the French toast, pavata brava (potatoes), green eggs, and biscuits and gravy. By far and above the best biscuits and gravy I have EVER had. Everything was absolutely insanely delicious and the portion sizes were great for the price. Transcendent experience, perfect for ending a long road trip.
Great food and coffee, the special was amazing, Bacon, Asparagus, Benedict. The environment was rad, red bricks and stones walls with a classic record player for the music. Super nice and friendly servers. Diffently will be back when coming though baker.
The place is small & cute; located in historic downtown with brick walls and a ranch/hipster vibe. Music is provided through an old record player for real. The staff were very friendly & attentive; a really nice happy vibe in the place. I must say, for a simple eggs Benedict special, it was one of the best I have ever had (and I order eggs Benedict as my go too everywhere) The ingredients were fresh & local, the coffee was lovely, & we even had a local cider with our breakfast/lunch that was perfect. If in Baker City, I would highly recommend--they are open for breakfast and lunch & located in the heart of the downtown area.
Super friendly service and delicious food every time. We always stop here passing through Baker City
Great little local restaurant, always worth the stop.
Really great food here, always some tasty options. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, usually some cool music playing on vinyl.
Delicious homemade goodness! I had huevos rancheros and my husband had the breakfast chimichanga. Loved the quant atmosphere enhanced by the vinyl records playing! Quick and friendly service too.
Hands down the best breakfast and brunch spot in Baker City. So delicious. Thumbs up all around. It may be busy but well worth the wait.
We stopped here on our way from Boise to Seattle and everything was beyond phenomenal! I already cant wait to hit this place up again!!!
Amazing. Every time. Staff is friendly, main menue and specials are always wonderful.
Great cafe in the heart of downtown Baker City. The interior is a little dark, but very cute; the service is friendly and quick & the food is excellent. Somewhat surprisingly, there is a decent selection of beer (&, I think, liquor).
One special and a Rubin. Very good food and amazing staff and a warm atmosphere.
They were training a new guy when I went and he did really well. It wasn't too busy that morning. The food was delicious, and my boyfriend and I actually ran into some friends of ours and we all had breakfast together. I highly recommend the lemonade.
I was really hoping the rave reviews wouldn't let me down but my expectations were less than met. We ordered the French toast and it was dry on the outside and the inside was still raw!!! We also order two burgers which were both so chewy and overcooked that they became inedible. 100% not worth $13 per plate. The fries were so greasy and that was all I could taste. Also, don't waste your money for a $5 baby sized cup of fresh squeezed orange juice. So disappointed.
This is one the most unique places to eat in Baker City. The food is unique and always delicious. The best soups in Eastern Oregon in my opinion. Breakfast is served during all open hours. The ambiance is eclectic, and local artsy. Super creative recipes. Unique steampunk lighting. The picture posted show the Bisquits and gravy. A unique combination of huge, freshly made rosemary Bisquits, meaty sausage gravy tops with farm fresh eggs. My favorite comfort food that they serve, beside the soups. And oh my! The soups are delicious! A definite go to in Baker City. They do close early afternoon, so they are not a dinner option. The picture is deceiving. That plate is deep and huge. They also have a nice selection of craft beers and great desserts!
We placed a carry out order here on our moving trip to Seattle and it was amazing! We had the Belt and the Huevos Rancheros and both were excellent. The staff was very nice and the food was ready extremely quickly.
I use to LOVE this place. The food never disappoints. The service and wait time leave something to be desired. Like other reviewers state, if you enjoy slow service and being ignored but are willing to wait it out for some amazing food, this is the spot for you. Personally, I don't enjoy poor service so I now just order to go.
Everything I've ever had here is delicious. It can be slow when it's busy.
Fun place with music on LPs, amazing food, friendly service and great atmosphere. Highly recommend the huevos rancheros. We'll definitely be back!
Absolutely deserving of 5 stars. All food is made from scratch. That means no bagged Mac-n-Cheese and all dressings are homemade. The grass fed beef hamburgers are awesome. Service was stellar also. Best place in Baker City on a Sunday.
A nice little cafe. I went for breakfast and ordered eggs benedict, which is not a normal order for me, and was delighted. The eggs were amazingly cooked and presented on top of the ham and muffin beautifully. The orange juice was fresh squeezed I believe. I would love to go back and try something off of the lunch menu. Breakfast and lunch are both served the whole time they are open according to our waitress.
Outstanding French toast. Full order is half the size of France. And do get a side of the potato sausage...dunno why potato is in the name. Really good.
Amazing cinnamon rolls that look like fancy cupcakes and are delicious. Pancakes, sandwiches, and omlets are all great. Even the biscuits and gravy are notably good, and I'm not usually a fan of white gravy.
